Overview

The 2027 AASOG conference will bring together experts across organ systems to focus on integrating and sharing advances in the science and management of sarcoidosis with the ultimate goal of improving sarcoidosis patient outcomes. To accomplish this we have organized the conference into thematic sessions: (I) Unified mechanisms in multisystem sarcoidosis, (II) Shared diagnostic and prognostic innovations, (III) Shared therapeutic strategies, (IV) The long game: from prediction to management in chronic disease, (V) Cardiac, pulmonary and neuro crosstalk, (VI) ocular and cutaneous disease as windows into systemic activity, (VII) shared outcomes and patient-centered advances, and (VIII) the future of multisystem sarcoidosis care.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Describe diagnostic standards of care and innovations across organ systems.
  2. Describe the use of anti-sarcoidosis treatments to address multisystem disease.
  3. Identify challenges and strategies to improve the global quality of life of sarcoidosis patients.
  4. Explain prognostication strategies incorporating multi-organ involvement.
